1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using TrustEazy.com ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Platform Immunity & User-Generated Content

TrustEazy is a platform that hosts user-submitted content. We do NOT create, verify, endorse, or guarantee the accuracy of any reports, reviews, or information submitted by users.

Under Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act (47 U.S.C. § 230), TrustEazy is not liable for user-generated content posted on the platform. All reports and reviews reflect the personal experiences and opinions of individual users.

3. User Responsibilities

When submitting content to TrustEazy, you agree to:

  • Provide truthful, accurate information based on your actual experience
  • Not submit defamatory, libelous, or knowingly false statements
  • Not include personal attacks, threats, harassment, or discriminatory content
  • Not violate any applicable laws or third-party rights
  • Provide a valid physical address for any company you report on

4. User Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless TrustEazy, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.

5. Content Moderation & Removal

TrustEazy reserves the right to remove content that violates these Terms, is flagged as inappropriate, or is subject to valid legal takedown requests. We maintain a flagging system for users to report violations.

Removed content authors will be notified and may appeal through our support email.

To appeal a removal, email support@trusteazy.com with the report ID, the reason you believe the action was incorrect, and any supporting context. Appeals are reviewed by TrustEazy support/moderation staff.

6. Data Retention

User data and submitted reports are retained for 7 years for legal and operational purposes. Users have the right to request deletion of their account and associated data, subject to legal obligations.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TrustEazy DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TrustEazy SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

9. GDPR & CCPA Compliance Placeholder

TrustEazy is committed to data protection. Users have rights under GDPR (for EU residents) and CCPA (for California residents), including rights to access, delete, and export their data.

Note: Full GDPR/CCPA compliance requires legal review and implementation of specific technical controls.

10. Changes to Terms

TrustEazy reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
